  • Nina,

    What a CUTIE....He looks like
you too...they say that we skip
    generations and resemble our
    grandparents and your grandson
    is proof!!!

We're so lucky to have these little
munchkins in our lives, aren't we!!!

  • Hi again Nina and thanks for the comments on my blog.
Divorce is a very traumatic experience to go through and you'll need time to find your niche in life I but truly believe that you'll be just fine. I have been divorced 6 years now after being married for 33 ( I married young). I remember the rush of feelings after my divorce, especially during the holidays. I would cry when I saw couples holding hands and laughing with one another because I didn't have that anymore. It was just me and what a lonely feeling! Since then I have many new friends in my life (no love interests...yet) and my wonderful family. I hope that you will find comfort in your family and just do whatever makes YOU happy...God Bless and I'll say a little prayer for you tonight.

  • Hey Nina,

I've been busy too, only with
    my son...I'm so impressed with
your CASA work. One of my neigh-
    bors volunteers here in Portland,
and she is an attorney. What's your
    background? It's really important work
that you are doing...children need all the
    advocates they can get!!!

I'm taking a break from my painting to
homeschool my son. I loved putting the
blog of my paintings up, just to remind
myself that at one time I actually had
a life pursuit!!! It's all FUN though...

I'm happy for you that your divorce has
been finalized!!! Now you can truly move
    forward!!!

  • hi nina,

i hope you're adjusting since your divorce. while being single can be fun after a while, it can be a little hard at times immediately following the divorce. i certainly wish you the best. i know blogging with all the wonderful ladies really helps--the new-found friendships and encouragement received from each one.

i did get to see your grandson. he is absolutely beautiful, as are you. take care.

    lots of hugs,
    sylvia
